I have been interested in lighting for some time now. I noticed that a lot of DMX kit is very expensive, and as as software guy I looked at the DMX512 protocol and decided it was only a simple matter of programming!

I admit to not being a hardware guy so you won't find projects here to make you own moving heads, more along the lines of useful interfaces like my USB DMX Interface, or my DMX Relay.

Over the last few years I have built a number of useful bits and pieces, and thought that it might be a good idea to let other people benefit from what I have done. I have not yet written up all the projects, and in fact some are from quite a long time ago and I have no longer got all the PCB layout files etc, so I will need to spend some time recreating them.

The projects section contains a list of the projects that I have made, or am in the process of making. If you have any ideas for projects that you would like to see, then let me know, I'm always looking for new things to do.

I don't do lighting commercialy, everything I do is either for the youth group in my church, or for the church itself. They don't have the finances for this so I do what I can (one of the reasons I started making my own kit) with my own limited finances. If you want to support any of my projects then I'm always grateful for any used lighting, or sound equipment, that you no longer use. If you have anything that you think might be of use to me please email me.
